First year students' creativity for the course of "Agricultural Extension and Communication"

HARTI Training Programme-2025 conducted at Vijayarama Mawatha, Colombo:07 on 23rd and 24th January, 2025. It included in-house lectures, study visits and field excursions in and suburbs of Colombo metropolitan area.  HARTI researchers and Senior Officers from Department of Census and Statistics served as the resource persons of the Workshop.

Prof. Nomura Hisako from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University, Japan successfully conducted a workshop on the Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion Approach (SHEP) Training Package at The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna on on June 14, 2025. 

Prof. Nomura Hisako from Kyushu University, Japan, met with the academic staff of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, on June 17, 2025. The meeting focused on advancing the implementation strategy and research components of the SHEP project. 

Mr. Latheeskumar, Environmental Officer, conducted a session for our Final Year Agricultural Economics students on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Central Environmental Authority at the Northern Provincial Office in Kilinochchi on 15.09.2025.
