Agnese Sacchi, born in 1980, got B.A. in Economics at the University of Urbino (2004) and Ph.D. in Economics at Marche Polytechnic University (2008). She also got M.Sc. in Economics at the same University (2005). She was post-doc Research Fellow (2008-2013) at Roma Tre University, Sapienza University of Rome and Marche Polytechnic University.
She was Assistant Professor in Economics at Universitas Mercatorum (the online University of the Chambers of Commerce) in Rome (2013-2016), Assistant Professor (with tenure track) in Public Finance (2016-2020) and Associate Professor of Public Finance (2020-2021) at the Department of Economics and Law, Sapienza University of Rome
From April 2021 to September 2023 she was Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics, Society, Politics (DESP) at University of Urbino Carlo Bo.
Since October 2023 she is Associate Professor of Public Finance at DESP at University of Urbino Carlo Bo.
Since 2014 she is research member of Governance and Economics research Network (GEN) at University of Vigo. She was Visiting Research Student (2006) at the London School of Economics, Visiting Research Scholar (2014) at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) and Consultant for the OECD Fiscal Network (2017). She is Junior Research Fellow at the Sapienza School for Advanced Studies (2019-2021).
Since 2017 to 2019, she was member (elected) of the National University Council (CUN) in Italy.
In 2018, she got the Italian Full Professorship Qualification in Public Finance.
In 2021, she got the Italian Full Professorship Qualification in Economic Policy.
She is member (elected) of the Academic Senate of the Univerisity of Urbino (2021-2024).
She is Board member (elected) of the European Public Choice Society (2022-2025).
