The leadership and management of organizations

The course addresses the question ‘What are the characteristics of an effective leader?’ The course will share the results of its 18+ years of research into what characterizes effective leadership.

At the end of the course, students (organized in teams of 5-6 persons) are called to research leadership and organizational behavior in four or five different cultures and to present their results to the class. For each of 4 or 5 countries in at least 4 of the following regions of the world (Europe, the U.S. or Canada, Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, China or Japan, the Middle East), each group will describe to the class the characteristics and features of leadership and organizational behavior.
