Laboratory for Intelligent Systems

The Laboratory for Intelligent Systems (LIS) joins together researchers of the Computer Science institute of DISIT (UPO) involved in the following areas of Artificial Intelligence:

• Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (Case-Based Reasoning, Probabilistic Graphical  Models and Uncertainty, Temporal Reasoning, Logic for AI and Automated Reasoning)

• Machine Learning (Classification, Regression and Recommender Systems)

• Deep Learning (Computer Vision, Graph Neural Networks)

Applications of the above methodologies are investigated in Healthcare and life sciences, business processes, reliability of systems and cyber-security.
