Foremost Media Scholarship

Foremost Media is excited to support a student in their quest to better their lives through higher education. With that in mind, we launched our Annual Foremost Media $500 Scholarship Award in 2019. We award at least one scholarship each year on June 1 to dedicated students who are pursuing or intend to pursue an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Web Development.

The SPAC Young Creatives Scholarship is designed to support and nurture the next generation of creative minds. They believe in the power of artistic expression and want to empower you to unleash your full creative potential. FarmHouse Fraternity Scholarship

Multiple scholarships of up to $1,000 are awarded each year to University of Minnesota freshmen, regardless of their major, based on academic achievement, leadership experience, extracurricular involvement, and career motivation, not their likelihood to join a fraternity. Glassel-Hofmann Family Scholarship

The Polk County Historical Society is offering the first ever Glassel-Hofmann Family College scholarship to eligible Polk County seniors in 2026. This need-based scholarship is being offered to students who will be attending a post-secondary institution (ex. technical school, community college, or four-year university). We are asking each student to submit a short essay along with the cover sheet and a picture. Submit to Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Emery in the High School Office by the deadline.

UW Green Bay Dual Credit Scholarship

UWGB has a guaranteed, minimum $1,000 scholarship available for dual credit students continuing their education at UW- Green Bay after high school graduation. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Students must be admitted to UWGB beyond high school graduation

• Students must successfully complete a minimum of one course with UWGB while dually enrolled (any grade above an F)

• Students must submit a scholarship application by June 30th, 2026

Family Pathways Scholarship

Inspired by national conversations on race and inclusion, as well as Family Pathways’ mission to affect positive social change, a local couple sought out Family Pathways’ partnership in the Fall of 2020 with a desire to fund a scholarship program for Black students living in East Central MN and Western WI. Our commitment to combat racism and grow towards change and inclusion, means we must be more than just words, more than just a statement. The Family Pathways Board of Directors and Staff look to the future for additional opportunities to build equity and justice for all of our neighbors.

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship

Wisconsin Towns Association, in partnership with Scott Construction, Inc., and Rural Mutual Insurance Company, is excited to announce the 2026 WTA Scholarship Contest. CVTC Foundation Scholarships

The CVTC Foundation offers over 400 scholarship opportunities. There are numerous scholarships available for current high school seniors who will be attending CVTC this coming summer and fall. Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program

The Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program (MJLSP) is a four-year tuition scholarship program serving nearly 500 high-achieving undergraduate students at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. With a philosophy of Excellence in Scholarship, Leadership and Service, the program is at the forefront of providing intensive and consistent levels of direct support to talented students who as a cohort begin their journey as freshman at UW-Madison. 

There is no separate scholarship application to be considered for the Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program. High school seniors must apply as a first-year student to UW Madison either through the common application or the UW System Application.

AB Nicholas Scholarship

Albert Nicholas Scholarship will offer scholarships to approximately 100 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character. The annual scholarships- $10,000 for four-year programs and $5,000 for two-year programs are renewable for the length of the program. Qualifications include: Wisconsin residency, basketball program participant during senior year, planning to attend a University of Wisconsin System school, not participating in Division I sport(s) at the collegiate level.

Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Scholarship

Better Business Bureau® (BBB) awards scholarships to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership, and ethical values. The Polk County Beekeepers Association offers a scholarship in the amount of $250 for one 2026 graduate at each high school in Polk County. The Americanism & Government Scholarship Test

Students are given the opportunity to receive recognition and scholarships by taking an online test comprised of 50 multiple-choice, true and false questions followed by an essay question of 300 words or less. The program is endorsed by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and is open to any Wisconsin student in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade. Scholarships are:

The Presidential 1776 Award

The Presidential 1776 Award, an initiative of the Department of Education, commemorates the 250th anniversary of the nation. Ray Aviation Scholarship

The EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program that is funded by the Ray Foundation, managed by EAA, and administered through the EAA Chapters network. Through the generous support of the Ray Foundation, EAA provides up to $12,000 to deserving youths to help cover their flight training expenses, totaling $2,250,000 in annual scholarship funding. This year, our chapter support will award TWO Ray scholarships, for persons between the ages of 16 and 19, in the form funding and mentorship to help him or her earn their pilot certificate.

Roen Grey Aronson Scholarship

Roen Aronson was a graduate from Unity H.S. Class of 2016.  He continued his education at the University of Minnesota, Morris with a Computer Science major and Music minor.  While at Morris, Roen was a member of their performing arts jazz band on Alto saxophone.  Music was pervasive in his life.  He participated in music programs offered through Unity and extended that love by creating a regional jazz combo band of friends.  It wasn’t enough to play previously published music, he was a student of music and truly “understood” it.  He composed jazz pieces the combo would go on to play publicly and even record in studio.  Although Roen loved performing, he also found great joy in sharing music through teaching and engaging others to join in.  In honor of his love of music, and what it meant to his close circle of family and friends, his parents lovingly offer this scholarship to a fellow Unity graduate and lover of music as a memorial to their son, Roen.

Wisconsin Cattlemen's Association

The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association (WCA) is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, awarding five $1,000  scholarships to Wisconsin high school seniors. FFA Future Leaders Scholarship

Nearly $2 million in FFA scholarships are available, thanks in part to a recent gift from the Tractor Supply Foundation. The company will offer scholarship recipients the opportunity to interview for career opportunities at its stores or distribution centers while they are pursuing their education and will earmark internships at the company's Store Support Center each year. 92 $5000 scholarships will be rewarded for members at trade schools or two year colleges. 54 $10,000 scholarships for members pursuing agriculture related four-year majors.

Each year the Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) awards scholarships to Wisconsin students enrolling in a course of study leading to a degree in police science or criminal justice. The Gates Scholarship

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

The SchoolHouse Connection Youth Leadership and Scholarship Program

Our program is one of the nation’s only national scholarship programs specifically serving youth that have experienced homelessness. The goal of our program is to provide financial assistance and staff and peer support to ensure that you are successful in getting to and through higher education and into the workforce.

The Carol Fougner Memorial Scholarship

Carol Fougner, a long-time resident of Polk County, spent much of her time advocating for individuals with special needs. She worked at the Polk County Special Education School, was a track & field and bowling coach with Polk County Special Olympics, provided respite care for families, and adopted a special needs child herself. It was Carol’s desire to provide and support opportunities in which physically and mentally challenged individuals could blossom and grow. In her lifetime, Carol touched the lives of countless individuals and families. The intent of this scholarship is to honor Carol’s efforts by awarding a $1,000.00 scholarship to a Polk County High School senior who has worked with intellectually or physically disabled individuals through employment and/or volunteering. The Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs Association Annual Scholarship Award Program was developed to offer financial assistance to full-time students enrolled in Criminal Justice programs at any college or university.  Jerry Larsen Memorial Scholarship

Jerry Larsen was one of the co-founders of the Polk County Agriculture Advocates.  He was active in 4-H and FFA as a youth and was a farmer his whole life.  He was active in the FFA Alumni and state FFA Alumni organizations. Beginning in Fall 2024, the Concordia Promise Program will cover full tuition for any student eligible to file the FAFSA and newly admitted to Concordia College with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) under $90,000.

Qualifications: 

1. Be admitted to Concordia as an incoming first-year or new incoming transfer student for Fall 2024.

2. Be eligible to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

3. Report an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) under $90,000 on the FAFSA (opening in December).

4. Attend full time and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
