ECONOMICS & AMERICAN GOVERNMENT

This semester course will introduce the basic concepts of economic theory. Emphasis will be placed on economic fundamentals, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and international economic concepts. The first half of the course is designed to focus in detail on the local, county and state levels of government in Wisconsin. The second half of the course focuses on the national level of government in the United States. The executive, legislative and judicial branches of government are analyzed with special emphasis on the President, Congress, and the Supreme Court.
