Hello! My name is Samantha Hansen and I teach 1st grade here at Unity Elementary. I grew up in Lindstrom, MN with my mom, step-dad and three older brothers. However, my dad has lived in Luck, WI my whole life, so I have always been familiar with the Polk County Area. I now live with my husband and our 2 cats in Shafer, MN.

I graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN with a K-6 teaching license and an Early Childhood birth-grade 3 license. I am now licensed to teach in both MN and WI. Before coming to Unity, I taught Kindergarten in New Brighton, MN and worked at an Early Child Education Center working with infants through school age children.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, camping, canoeing and spending time with my family and friends, especilally my 9 neices and nephews!
