While each teacher may have different expectations when it comes to assignments, assessments, and the daily structure of his or her class, all teachers in the hallway abide by these 4 standards: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be A Good Citizen, and Be Kind. With the start of 7th grade, comes a new sense of independence. The 7th-grade teachers expect students to advocate for themselves and be able to learn from experiences that come up during the year. However, this is a new experience for most of them, and it takes a lot of trial and error before they can master this skill. The graphic on the left has some key topics that nearly all 7th graders have dealt with and often need help remembering at school and home.
