Sustainable forest loggings
Rodolfo Picchio is associate professor in Forest Utilization and Wood Technology at the Tuscia University, Department of Agriculture and Forest Sciences (DAFNE), Viterbo (ITALY). He teachs "Forest Logging" and "Planning and management of forest yards", he is also scientific manager of the Forest Utilization and Woody biomasses Laboratory.
Main research topics: reduced impact logging, precision loggings, forest road network, forest restoration, forest sustainable management, woody biomass LCA, forest mechanization, sylvicultural impact on forest ecosystems, energetic characterization of woody products.
