Taking place in Malang on June 3, 2024. The seminar will delve into the intricacies of 'Biochar for Carbon Capture and Storage to Achieve Sustainable Development,' offering insights into supporting ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives and advancing the understanding of this complex field of study.
TOPICS
Focus on the role of biochar in absorbing carbon from the atmosphere and storing it in the soil for longer periods. Discuss the potential of biochar as a solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change.
Discuss environmental, social and governance aspects of the use of biochar. Discussion of how the application of biochar can contribute to responsible waste management, the welfare of local communities, and the principles of good governance in business and industry.
Highlights how biochar can be used to improve soil fertility, water retention and agricultural productivity in a sustainable manner. Discussion of the application of biochar in agricultural, forest and waste management practices to support sustainable development.
