ERC-FUNDED POSITIONS ON MyFirstBody PROJECT

ERC-funded PhD scholarship position

The ERC-funded project MyFirstBody aims to investigate the ontogenetic development of bodily-self representation by translating from a neuropsychological to a developmental perspective.

Our new line of research focuses on the implicit signatures of bodily-self representation emergence in prenatal (with studies on foetuses) and postnatal (with studies on newborns and infants) life in normal and pathological (i.e., congenital and acquired motor deprivation) contexts.

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to design studies, collect and analyse data from the MyFisrtBody experiments, employing psychophysiological techniques in our developmental and adult populations.

We have one three-year full-time position starting approximately in November 2024.

If you are interested in our research topics and these positions, we kindly ask you to send your CV to hr.manibus@gmail.com. A reference letter is also appreciated.

One fully ERC-funded postdoc position

The ERC-funded project MyFirstBody aims to investigate the ontogenetic development of bodily-self representation by translating from a neuropsychological to a developmental perspective.

Our new line of research focuses on the implicit signatures of bodily-self representation emergence in prenatal (with studies on foetuses) and postnatal (with studies on newborns and infants) life by taking advantage of several psychophysiological techniques such as sonographic scans, EEG, fNIRS and fMRI.

We are looking for postdocs with solid expertise in the fMRI and/or fNIRS field to design studies, collect and analyse data from the experiments employing these techniques in our developmental and adult populations.

We have a one-year open position (renewable) starting approximately in November 2024.

If you are interested in our research topics and these positions, we kindly ask you to send your CV to hr.manibus@gmail.com. A reference letter is also appreciated.
