SinG School in Geometry - Trento
K-stability of Fano varieties
and birational invariants
Trento (Italy) - January 23-27, 2023
Short Description
Short Description
K-stability is a central topic in modern complex geometry. It characterises Fano manifolds that admit a Kähler-Einstein metric and provides a good notion of compact moduli space for Fano varieties. This graduate school aims to introduce the topic to early career researchers with an emphasis on explicit methods for verifying K-stability for Fano varieties based on birational invariants.
