Lab classes:

• Semptember, 17th - Javascript - We have seen an overview of the web 2.0 and the technologies behind it. We have learned the basics of Javascript, such as, execute a script from the system shell, or testing the code directly in the browser console. We have seen the difference between blocking and non blocking calls and how to interact with web services and api, such as, wikipedia api.
• September, 19th - Node.js - We have seen how to implement and start a basic instance of a node server. We have learned how to configure a new npm project and install external modules. We started to use Express.js to manage routing in a node server, serve static files, and configure middlewares, such as "body parser" to pre-process the content of http requests and responses. We have learned how to define URIs and use HTTP methods, when designing RESTful APIs. Finally, we have used Postman to test the endpoints of our server.
• October, 2nd and 3rd - Versioning and collaboration - We have seen the basics of git and github.
