Trento is an Italian city in the Alpine region, just a short distance from the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
Plane
The closest airport is Verona, but Trento is also conveniently reachable from Milan (Bergamo and Linate airports are recommended), Venice, and Bologna. From these airports, bus or train connections to Trento are available.
Train
Trenitalia, Italo, and ÖBB trains all stop at Trento railway station, which is within walking distance of both the historic city center and the workshop venue.
Car
Via the Brenner toll motorway A22 (90 km from Verona, 180 km from Innsbruck).
HFR 2026 will take place in the Kessler room, on the ground floor of the Sociology Building, University of Trento. The Sociology building is located in the city center, next to Piazza del Duomo and 10 minutes' walking distance from the main train station.
