STEP OUTSIDE

This is not a traditional gallery show.

It is a temporary takeover.

STEP OUTSIDE is United Street Art’s flagship exhibition program. It presents live, artist-led street art exhibitions that transform indoor spaces into active street environments—on artists’ terms.

Building on multiple successful exhibitions presented in 2025, STEP OUTSIDE invites graffiti writers, sticker artists, and emerging street artists to create work on-site with interactive art installs, a kind of street playground in a gallery environment.

How STEP OUTSIDE SHOW Works

Each STEP OUTSIDE SHOW exhibition is designed as a short-term, immersive event where:

Artists create work during the exhibition
Walls, panels, doors, and installed objects become living surfaces
The public can observe, engage, and learn directly from artists
Work is documented before it disappears

The exhibition space itself becomes part of the artwork—capturing the energy and collaboration that define street culture.

Why It Matters

Street art is inherently temporary. Walls are painted over. Stickers get buffed. Names disappear.

STEP OUTSIDE exists to:

Sell artists work that is often uncompensated when on the street.
Create public access to street art outside traditional environments
Give space for collaboration and community.

Every STEP OUTSIDE exhibition is both a cultural event and a preservation effort.

STEP OUTSIDE brings together graffiti writers, Sticker Artists, wheat paste artists, sculptors, yarn bombers, 3d printers, photographers, muralists and more.
