NAPA will support the development of local Assemblies — networks of creative and cultural workers developing grassroots campaigns to win economic rights in their communities. 

Assemblies will receive funding and organizing support to build out local action plans, as well as participate in a peer learning cohort and organizing training designed to support their efforts.

NAPA will help the Assemblies build cross-sectoral relationships and alliances in their communities, while participating in relevant national coalitions as a means to learn about and share policy opportunities with the NAPA community. 

In Fall 2026, we hope to convene our first National Creative and Cultural Worker Assembly, where we will assess progress and devise a shared national agenda. Once in place, this agenda will guide NAPA’s efforts to build cross-sectoral alliances to win economic rights for all.
