The start Date for Freshman Baseball will be Monday, Mar. 2, 2026.
Tryouts for Freshman-Seniors will be Mar. 2 thru Mar. 5, 2026.

(Subject to gym availability: Times may change after day 1 due to Varsity Basketball. End times are approximate: evaluating athletes takes time)
You may use Room 181 in the Ag Room/Training Room Hallway to NEATLY store your bat bags during the school day.
Attire should be sweat pants, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt/outdoor clothing, hat, tennis shoes (inside), cleats (outside), protective cup & supporter
[Be prepared each day to be inside (tennis shoes) OR outside (cleats)]
Please use Exit T at the back of the building for pickup/dropoff.
3/02/2026 Monday 5:30-7:30p, Meet North Gym after softball is done.
3/03/2026 Tuesday 5:30-7:30p, Meet North Gym.
3/04/2026 Wednesday 3:45-5:30p, Meet North Gym. Catchers bring gear.
3/05/2026 Thursday 7-8am Catchers bring gear & 3:45-6p. Final Team Chosen & individual conferences
3/06/2026 Friday 3:30-5:45p, Meet in weight room after school in shorts. Bring parent contact information (cell phone and email), no baseball equipment required. Handbook.
3/07/2026 Saturday 11-2p, Enter Exit T, meet in Hallway outside North Gym, hat/uniform, practice.
3/14/2026 Saturday Parent Meeting, 3p at Normal West High School Senior Cafeteria (parent items below):
Mandatory Financial Obligations: Normal West Activity Fee, Normal West Hat - $25, Stirrup Socks - $10, Black Long Sleeves, Black Game Socks, White Baseball pants, Black Belt for Game Pants, Black Metal Spikes, Black or Gray Sweatpants, Glove, Tennis Shoes for Indoors, Concession Stand Seed Money - $20, Minimum 1 Fundraising Obligation
