Python Perks slips are a student-wide reward system that connects to our school expectations: Be respectful, Be responsible, Be safe.
Here is how Python Perks slips will be used at Parkside Junior High - this list can change with new ideas added!
Cafeteria Drawings - Deposit Python Perks in the lunchroom bins to be eligible for cafeteria drawings. We will have a monthly drawing in both lunch locations and you can win prizes for your whole lunch table! The first drawing will be Friday, August 29th.
Perks deposited for raffles will stay in the bins all semester and then we start over after winter break when new seats are chosen.
PBIS Store - Once a month in the cafeteria, we will have a school store where you can trade Python Perks for cool stuff. These items include school supplies like earbuds, mechanical pencils, notebooks, etc… pop and chips, candy, fun spirit items which change on a monthly basis. Students in both lunch locations will have access to the store.
Popcorn - Once a month at lunch - beginning in September (4 perks for a bag)
Raffles- Larger items will be raffled off throughout the school year to reinforce behavior targets set for students. Python Perks are deposited to have a chance to win these bigger prizes.
