Google Classroom

In Computer Skills, we will be using Google Classroom. Google Classroom is new for me so please bare with me as I learn how to use it! At the beginning of the semester, students log into Google Classroom and bookmark it onto their bookmarks bar. I've included a link below to access Google Classroom.

About EduTyping

During the semester, we will learn how to use the correct keyboarding techniques. We will learn how to use good posture and technique while improving their accuracy and speed. This semester, we are using a web-based keyboarding program. EduTyping is a web-based keyboarding program that does not require any textbooks or paper! We are trying to be more green and this is the perfect program for it. EduTyping also relates more to the students than previous typing programs. The students will be able to type articles about real-time news that appeals to them. The students will also be graded on their accuracy and completion of their assignments. Every week the students are required to complete two EduTyping Lessons. They will have time in class to complete them but if they are not completed by Thursday of that week, they become homework. The students do have access to EduTyping from home. If the lessons are not completed over the weekend, the student will be able to go back and complete those lessons for full credit!
