Welcome to 2nd Quarter! I hope that you have been able to settle into the school year and are finding ways to get involved with Evans. There are so many clubs and opportunities for students and families to get involved. Our Daily Announcements are updated constantly on our website so you can keep up with meetings, tryouts and more.

The end of this week we will host our Halloween Bash - all Evans students are invited to attend - tickets are $5 and Bash Cash (for concessions and Haunted House entry) are $1 each. Tickets will be on sale during lunches and must be purchased in advance. Families are STRONGLY encouraged to carpool as drop off and pick up lines are long. Parents will enter through our regular parent pick up line and then snake around the building to the front to drop off/pick up students. Parents should NOT park in lot and should NOT exit their cars for any reason. Please note that bags/purses are not allowed for this event - students should plan accordingly. Costumes are welcome, not masks or weapons. Costumes should be school appropriate.

Finally, I want to encourage students to be at school every day and engaged in learning. Strong attendance during the middle school years is strongly tied to future student success. Studies also show that students who are involved in one or more school activities have higher attendance rates. Thanks to all our families who support our students, getting them to school on time and ready to learn.
