PARENT VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS
We couldn't have a successful volleyball program without our awesome parents! Parents generally sign up for two concessions time slots or one of the other major jobs. Two parents could work one game or one parent could work two games.
Once the team is posted, a sign-up genius will also be posted shortly after.
If you have questions about what you sign up for, please email Coach Barbeau.

Call ahead for each home game and arrange delivery of either gondolas or cheese/sausage/pepperoni pizzas. Please add $3 - $5 tip to the order when calling.
EJHS has an account w/ Avant’s on Rt. 9. They will charge it to our account. Just make sure to specify volleyball as the sport.
Pizza will be paid for from the concession box and the receipt left in it.
SACK LUNCH ORGANIZER/PURCHASER FOR AWAY GAMES(2)
Get Away game dates/bus times from coaches
Order and deliver/get delivered lunches for away games and have available before the bus leaves. Generally, lunch consists of 1/3 gondola, bottle of water, chips, 1 piece of fruit and occasionally 1 small piece of candy or fruit snacks. In the past, parents have substituted Jimmy Johns/Jason's Deli/Pizza/other a couple times instead of gondolas. We charge each girl $5 per game x the number of games so the meals for the season should be within that amount.
Package or line up items each game so players can grab what they need on the way out to the bus. Players catch the bus on the side of the building, at the end of the music hallway.
Use Tax Exempt letter and turn in receipt to Mrs. Jerome in the office to get reimbursed.

CONCESSIONS WORKER(2 per 7th game/2 per 8th game)
8th Grade Parents work 7th Grade Game
7th Grade Parents work 8th Grade Game
General Practices:
Under no circumstances should students be in the concession stand.
Each official and game worker will be given 2 tickets. 1 ticket equals one free item from the concession stand. These tickets must be collected by the parents working the concession stand.
These tickets will be given to the administrator supervising the game to hand out by the AD.
Please make sure pricing is clearly listed for all items.
Work with Ruth Jerome to ensure you have a money box/change. After half time of the second game, concessions should be closed.
The money box should be given to the administrator supervising the game to be placed in the vault.
Make sure the concession stand is locked at the end of the night and all concession items are cleaned up.
The cafeteria needs to be left clean at the end of the night!
Be sure to only store your team concession items in your designated team cabinet in the concession stand. Let me know if it needs to be unlocked.
