Throughout their time in the ADP students will complete hands on STEM projects to apply their computer science skills to real world problems. Through these projects, students will collaborate in teams with peers and mentors from State Farm. These projects will also help students develop professional skills and help them develop collaborative skills.
While projects vary from year to year, examples of previous projects are below.

ADP Sophomores use Arduinos to apply their knowledge of programming (in C++) and engineering. Students are tasked with building robotic arm to accomplish a task of their choice.

ADP Juniors design and teach computer science lessons to 5th-grade students at Oakdale Elementary. Students are tasked with helping these students learn and enjoy computer science.

Computer Science: Choose Your Own Adventure
Students are select a technology or project they want to explore. Students are given time and resources to learn and apply the computer science & STEM project they select.
