EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Extended abstract should be between FOUR (4) to FIVE (5) pages ONLY. Please limit the use of acronyms, abbreviations, and references in the abstract.

• Keywords: Not more than FIVE (5) keywords, which should be arranged according to alphabetical order separated by semicolon (;). 

• Referencing: Please use the APA referencing system.

• Extended abstracts must align with the theme and subthemes of the Seminar, “Language & Communication Education for Future Ready Minds.” 

• Submissions should present original research, innovative ideas, or significant contributions to the field of communication and language. 

• Extended abstract should contain the major aspects of the entire paper, including: 1) Introduction (background of the study, purpose of the study, and research problem), 2) Methods (basic design of the study), 3) Major findings, and 4) A summary of your interpretations and conclusions. 

• Papers in Malay or Arabic should use the same format 

• All abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word ONLY. 

• Extended abstracts should be submitted through the Registration Form at the REGISTRATION tab 

Review of Extended Abstracts

• All submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed by panels of experts. 

Publication Opportunities 

• All accepted extended abstracts will be published in e-proceeding with ISBN. 

• Selected papers will be invited for a book publication and the full paper is due by 30 October 2025.

PRE-RECORDED VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• To present your paper, prepare a pre-recorded video presentation.

• The video should not be more than 10 minutes.

• Save the video in MP4 format not exceeding 2GB.

• Recording could be done on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint or Canva.

• Name your file: “HamidBakar_ParallelSession1”

• Upload your video in the link provided:  (Link will be emailed by AReIS2025 secretariat)

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• The full paper manuscripts should be written between 20-25 pages, including all text, references, all text in tables, figures, and appendices.

• Paper should be using Times New Roman, 12 font size.

• Paper must be in English or Bahasa Melayu and original, which has never been published or submitted in other publications.

• The full tentative title of the manuscript should be written.

• Paper must be in Microsoft Word format ONLY.

• Full paper should be submitted through a link that will be provided later.

PUBLICATIONS

• E-Proceedings

All accepted extended abstracts whose full papers were presented in the seminar will be included in the AReIS2025 e-proceedings with Electronic International Standard Book Number (eISBN). The proceedings will only be published ONLINE and within two months after the seminar. Printed copies will not be available for distribution.

• Book Chapter

Selected research papers have the opportunity to be published in a book chapter published by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin.

CERTIFICATE

• Only ONE (1) certificate will be issued for ONE (1) presentation bearing all the names of the authors as written in the accepted extended abstract.
