The PhD Course 

The course explores the fundamental principles governing the physical aspects of tactile and kinesthetic engagement between humans and robots. The key components of this foundational exploration include: Interaction models based on robotics and mechanical principles, Haptic interfaces, Control systems governing these interactions, Applications of human-machine force interaction, including remote teleoperation systems, and applications. 

This course is specifically designed for doctoral students interested in understanding advanced issues in Human-Centered Robotics.

The course will be held both with frontal lectures and online. 

There will be a final evaluation test that will provide the certificate of attendance for the course.

Hybrid Mode in Presence and Google Meet

The PhD course will held both in presence and online. For students who want to attend in person, the course will be held at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics of the University of Siena (address: Via Roma 56, 53100 Siena, Italy) in ROOM 103 @DIISM and online at the address: https://meet.google.com/jej-gfbm-tjf

For the 7th March lecture, the classroom is ROOM 145 @DIISM
