Notice to All Students Regarding Gmail Usage
We would like to inform all students about the use of Gmail for your academic communications. In addition to Gmail, you also have access to a wide range of Google Workspace applications, including:
Google Classroom, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Keep, YouTube, Photos, Maps, Forms, Sites, Taks, Photos, and Contacts.
These tools provide a comprehensive set of features that support your academic needs and communication. Here are some key points to remember:
Security: Be mindful of security practices when using these tools.
Storage: You have a total of 10GB of storage available for your account.
Licensed Account: This account is licensed under UNISEL, offering many features provided by Google Workspace.
Students can access their email with the following format.
Student ID - xxxxxxxx@student.unisel.edu.my
Password - IC number or passport number
We will not be migrating your Microsoft 365 data as follows:
1. Emails
2. Messages and Files in Microsoft Teams
3. Files and Folders that are shared to you by others in OneDrive
During this switching exercise, kindly start using http://email.student.unisel.edu.my/ now and do not use https://www.office.com/ for future email correspondence.
