AVI CFP Workshop:


We invite proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces (AVI 2020) that will take place in Island of Ischia, Italy, from June 08 - June 12, 2020.

AVI ‘20 workshops will facilitate the exchange of new ideas in all areas related to advanced visual interfaces. We invite proposal to conduct either half-day long or one-day long duration.


The submitted proposal would consist of:

  • Workshop title

  • Contact information of organizers, including the main contact person

  • Motivation and objectives: 2-3 sentences with the motivation and objectives of the workshop.

  • List of topics

  • Format and required services: The format for the workshop (e.g., paper presentations, keynotes, breakout sessions, discussions, etc.), half-day or full-day, special services, logistics and/or equipment.

  • Target audiences: Attendees background, targeting industry or research participants or both, range of attendees (min and max), public or invitation based only.

  • Proceedings: Type of papers and how many maximum, reviewing process, PC names, whether to publish a proceeding by your own choice and with the AVI adjunct proceeding.

  • Workshop History: Previous versions, number of attendees, and any link to website.

  • Organizers’ Bios: Brief bio of each organizer.


Important Dates:

  • Submission deadline: January 15, 2020

  • Acceptance notice: January 25, 2020

  • Website online: February 05, 2020

  • Workshop paper dues: March 23, 2020 (Recommended)

  • Workshop paper acceptance notice: April 13, 2020 (Recommended)

  • Workshop paper camera ready: April 27, 2020

  • Workshop day: June 09, 2020


Conditions:

AVI 2020 will not pay for registration, travel, or other arrangements for workshop organizers or any of their invited speakers or guests. AVI 2020 will also not pay for workshop dinners.
