Deemed by Unesco to be an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, the Amalfi Coast is a beguiling combination of great beauty and gripping drama: coastal mountains plunge into the sea in a stunning vertical scene of precipitous crags, picturesque towns and lush forests.

10:00 Stop in Amalfi to visit the Cathedral with the tourist guide (entrance fee not included in the price)

The Tour starts from the Cathedral, the town’s landmark, which was built in the IX century and altered on various occasion. It is where the remains of St Andrew the Apostle are kept. Near the Cathedral there are: “Basilica del Crocifisso” where the treasures of the Duomo are exhibited, and “Chiostro del Paradiso”, the last resting place for the influencial people of Amalfi.

12:00 Stop in Ravello to have lunch (not included in the price) and to visit Villa Rufolo (entrance fee not included in the price). Free time.

Overlooking the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is a medieval village full of winding cobblestone streets, lush gardens, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. It represents today one of the most famous Italian destinations of international tourism for lovers of beautiful architecture, but also, and above all, the soul place for intellectuals and lovers of art and culture. The beautiful terraces of Villa Rufolo, from which you can admire a breathtaking view, enchanted for example Wagner, in whose honor it takes place the International Festival of Music, which made Ravello, the city of music on the Amalfi Coast

9:30 Stop in Cava de’ Tirreni to visit the Benedictine Abbey of the Holy Trinity with the tourist guide (entrance fee not included in the price)

The Abbey has been founded in 1011 from a nobleman called Alferio from the city of Salerno, South Italy, and is the only Monastery in the world, that from the day of its foundation till today it has been always inhabited by the Benedictine Monks without any interruption. For such a reason, the treasures of every kind are conserved there, that it deserves to be visited.

11:30 Stop in Vietri sul Mare to visit a laboratory and ceramic shops. Limoncello tasting.

The main attraction of Vietri is not represented by monument or historic building, but simply by the ceramic ornaments. Vietri ceramics is everywhere, the whole story of the daily life of the inhabitants Vietri is painted on ceramic, which is exported all over the world. Absolutely to visit in Vietri are the workshops of the typical ceramic: each of these has its own laboratory, ideas and colors

31 October - Salerno

(half day 16.00 - 20.30)

An urban trekking path will introduce the guest to the ancient via dei Mercanti, which crosses the historical center, “Minerva gardens”, the Cathedral, St Giorgio Church and the Villa Comunale. So the guest can admire the characteristics of a city that was home to the first and most important medical school of Europe, capital of the homonymous Longobard principality during the Middle Ages and the capital of Italy during the Second World War
