Viviana Gaballo is Associate Professor in English Linguistics and Translation Studies at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She has published and presented papers at international conferences in areas related to Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Translation Studies, and technology-enhanced learning. She is the author of the Systemic-Functional Translation Competence model (“English in Translation Studies: Methodological Perspectives”, 2009).
