About the event
Following the previous editions - held in  Bari in 2025 [link UMI2025], Milan in 2024 [link UMI2024] and Turin in 2023 [link UMI2023] - the fourth edition of the workshop of the UMI Group “Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” will take place at Sapienza Università di Roma in January 2026. 

The workshop focuses on the interplay between mathematics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The aim of the event is to encourage mathematical research in these areas, to promote the dissemination of results, to facilitate interaction with other disciplines: this is meant to be an event where the various Italian groups working in the field can meet and share progress, new ideas, new challenges, open problems, etc. As a result:

1) Proposals for contributed talks are welcome but those presented by young researchers will be preferred. 

2) Participating and contributing is not restricted to UMI members, but is open to all interested researchers.
