The journal Rendiconti di Matematica e delle sue Applicazioni adheres to the EMS Code of Practice.
The journal has an open submission policy. Submission of a paper implies that it is the original work of the author(s) and that it has not been published (in any language) or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. All submitted papers receive unbiased consideration, regardless of the authors' nationality, gender, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship or political views.
Submitted manuscripts are expected to be mathematically correct, well organized, clearly written and of interest to the scientific community. Research articles should be original and contain either new results or new proofs of known results. Survey articles should provide a clarification and/or critical evaluation of previously published material; at least one author of a survey article must have a documented record of past research on topics related to the subject of the survey.
All submitted contributions are sent to some experts in the relevant area for evaluation according to the above criteria. Each referee may either review the paper or recommend alternative referees. To ensure a fair evaluation and avoid conflicts of interest, we seek to ensure that referees have not been co-authors of any of the paper's authors in recent years.
Referees must treat manuscripts received for peer review as confidential and must not use the material contained in a submitted paper for their own benefit. Referees should not agree to review a paper if they have a conflict of interest. In their report, referees must base their assessment solely on the relevance, originality, clarity and correctness of the results of the submitted paper.
The editors ensure the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts until they are accepted for publication. The editors and the editorial office do not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the referees and the other editors of the journal. Unpublished results contained in a submitted manuscript must not be used by the editors without the author's consent. The final decision on acceptance or rejection, based on the referee's report, is made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation, if necessary, with other members of the Editorial Board. This decision is final.
Submissions by the editor in chief are not permitted; submission of other editors are handled through a special procedure ensuring that the peer review and the final decision are entirely independent of the author/editor. The editor in chief is not allowed to
