Andrea Sesta

Andrea Sesta is the co-founder and CTO of NaviGate. He completed the Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Space Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome in 2024 in the radio science laboratory. He spent 6 months at ESA/ESOC as a Visiting Researcher. Specializing in autonomous orbit determination and nonlinear guidance for lunar transfer orbits, he focuses his research on the orbit determination for a Lunar Radio Navigation System (LRNS) within the ESA Moonlight Project. Within NaviGate, he serves the role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to build the next-generation onboard spacecraft navigation software.
