The exam starts with a brief presentation (~15 min, including questions) of a scientific instrument from a space mission of the student's choice (supported by slides prepared by the student, ~10 slides), followed by a discussion on the topic and questions about other instruments presented during the course (~15 min), as well as on exercises done during lessons (a presentation on the exercises is not requested). There are no midterm tests, nor a written exam.
