Towards the History of a Heterodox Tradition in Analytic Philosophy

PRIN 2022 Research Project

The research project aims at investigating a philosophical canon, internal to the analytic tradition, hinged on the notions of transformative analysis, conversational methodology, and humanistic style. This heterodox body of authors, texts, and problems will be checked against both the analytic orthodoxy (allegedly non-therapeutic, isolationalist, and scientific) and kindred intellectual movements within and without philosophy (among which selected strands of post-Hegelian philosophy, pragmatism, psychoanalysis, and literary theory).

The research team is based at Sapienza Università di Roma, Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and Università degli Studi di Torino.
