Graduated in Architecture at the University of Ferrara in 2002, qualified as Architect, obtained a Ph.D. at Politecnico di Milano in 2007, with a thesis on 3D integrated survey methodologies in Industrial Design & Cultural Heritage. In the following eight years, he worked as Research Fellow at the Politecnico di Milano, deepening studies about survey, modeling, and virtual representation domain. In 2015-16, he digitized Regio VIII of Pompeii. From 2016 to 2019, he has worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of History, Representation, and Restoration of Architecture in Sapienza University (Rome), teaching Architecture Representation courses. Since 2019 he is Associate Professor in the same Department. He is a reviewer of international journals and conferences, author of several proceedings, journals, and essays in 3D Imaging and Digital Representation.
