2005 (April – July), visiting researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory, of the Michigan State University (USA). He worked in the development and manufacturing of an electro-medical devices for non-invasive diagnostic of artificial heart valve.

Since 2018 He is the head of the certified calibration laboratory (LAT105) at University of Cassino and Southern Lazio accredited by the Italian Body ACCREDIA-DT respect to the standard ISO IEC 17025.
Since 2018 he is the coordinator of the working group of the Italian Calibration Laboratories for the sector “vehicle speed meters” Accredited by the Italian Body ACCREDIA-DT respect to the standard ISO IEC 17025.
2020 He is qualified as Quality Assessor to assess Performance Audit of second and third parties according to the standards UNI EN ISO 19011 and UNI EN ISO 9001.
Since 2021 (March 1) He is Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurement (ING-INF/07), at the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering of the University of Rome La Sapienza.
AWARDS
2003 He won the Young Researchers Project 2003, instituted by the University of Cassino and aimed at financing research projects carried out by young researchers, presenting a project entitled "Development of methods and tools for performing non-destructive tests on conductive materials. "
2007 (September) He won the award doctoral “Carlo Offelli” from the Italian Society of Electrical and Electronic Measurements for the best doctoral thesis in the measures field, discussed in calendar years 2005 and 2006.
2008 (Murch) He won the award doctoral “Premio Tesi 2007” from BIC Lazio for the best doctoral thesis in the ambit of University & Business program.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROJECTS
Since 2003 he is participant of several research projects admitted to financing with competitive calls or financed by companies in the sector concerning with measurement systems for non-destructive testing, realization and characterization of innovative sensors, Power Quality measurement, measure of electrical quantities in sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal conditions, methods and systems for the calibration of vehicle speed meters.
In the following are reported only some of these projects with particular attention to that admitted to financing with competitive calls.
2007 Participant to the Research Project of National Interest PRIN 2007- “Measurement methodologies and characterization of electricity energy meters in non-sinusoidal condition and in presence of electromagnetic interference”, financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific Research.
2009 Participant to the Research Project of National Interest PRIN 2009- “Characterization and in field calibration of measurement system for electric power and energy under non sinusoidal conditions”, financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific Research.
2015 Participant to the Research Project of National Interest PRIN 2015- “Six DOF scalable finger tracking system”, financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific Research.
2016 Participant to the Research Project Grant F4E-GRT-0640-“Development of a Measuring System of Induced Voltages in Ferromagnetic Structures”, financed by the European Union.

ACTUAL RESEARCH INTERESTS
His current research interests are concerned with the design, realization and metrological characterization of measurement systems to perform Non Destructive Testing via Eddy Current, sensor design, realization and characterization for different applications such as wearable devices air and water pollutants, impedance measurement (R, L, C parameters) in sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal condition also using complex optimized signals, state of health and state of charge evaluation on battery for vehicle applications, measurement systems for the Power Quality on the electrical network, measurement of electrical power and energy under non-sinusoidal condition, methods and systems for the calibration of vehicle speed meters.
The results of these research activities are published on more than 150 scientific manuscripts, issued on national and international journals and conference proceedings.
