E-Nucl proposes a paradigm shift in the continuum modelling of phase transitions in fluids, combining large deviation theory with multiphase fluctuating hydrodynamics. This new framework could represent a turning point in fluid dynamics, filling the gap between atomistic mechanics and macroscopic hydrodynamics, paving the way for the first in-silico high-fidelity experiments of phase-change-based microtechnologies.
M2M-PCE will bridge microscopic nucleation physics and macroscopic continuum models through a thermodynamically consistent, self-similar upscaling framework. This will enable predictive, physics-based design of next-generation phase-change systems, including cooling technologies for high-power microprocessors and AI hardware.
