• Q1: After paper acceptance, do authors need to shorten their papers to fit in the limit of pages?

We kindly ask all authors to prepare their camera-ready papers using the official Springer format. The papers must be longer than 6 pages and shorter than 16 pages. 

• Q2: What is the poster format?

- Size: A1. Dimensions: 594 mm (width) × 841 mm (height). Orientation: Portrait

• Q3: Where can we submit the camera-ready?

All the authors of accepted papers have received the instructions for the camera-ready submission. The deadline to submit the camera-ready (strict, set by the workshop chairs) is on the 20th of September AoE. Do not hesitate to contact us for doubts.

• Q4: Is it possible to opt-out of having our paper included in the proceedings?

Yes. We will update you on this point soon.

• Q5: Is attendance at the GREEN-AI Workshop subject to a registration fee? 

In order to have the paper published in the Proceedings, at least one author of the submission should have a registration. This will also allow them to present the paper in Naples.

• Q6: Do I have to do something after completing the form for the camera ready? 

You still have plenty of tasks to complete. You have to register for the conference, book your flight and your accommodation, and prepare your poster and also the presentation (for oral papers). At a certain point, you'll receive a communication via CMT to submit the camera-ready directly via CMT. This will be the official camera-ready submission that will appear in the proceedings.

• Q7: Where should we upload our presentation slides?

The slides for lightning talks and oral papers must be uploaded here. The strict deadline (set by the workshop chairs) is August 31st. Use the following naming policy: PaperID_PresenterSurname_PresenterName. Accepted formats: pptx or pdf. Slides template here.

• Q8: If no author of a given accepted paper registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, will the paper be included in the proceedings?

No. At least one author of each accepted paper must register at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference and present the paper. If no author registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, the paper will not be included in the workshop proceedings.

• Q9: f an author registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference but is subsequently unable to attend and present the paper in person, will the paper be included in the proceedings?

If at least one author has registered at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, the paper will be included in the workshop proceedings, even if the author is subsequently unable to attend in person.
