EQEP
Engineering of Quantum Emitter Properties
Engineering of Quantum Emitter Properties
The aim of the workshop is to bring together leading and young researchers working in the highly engaging field of solid-state quantum emitters including semiconductor quantum dots, organic molecules, defect centres and two-dimensional materials. It provides the right opportunities to stimulate interactive exchanges and research collaborations on broad topics such as light-matter interactions and nanospectroscopy, novel methods to control cavity-quantum emitter interaction, strategies for efficient light extraction from solid state emitters, theoretical methods to simulate quantum dynamics, and recent developments in quantum light generation from solid-state materials.
This workshop, which started in 2013 and is held every year, has evolved into a seminal event within the academic community, widely recognized as a key reference point for researchers seeking to engage with the latest developments, share innovative findings, and foster scholarly collaboration in the field. The active participation of industrial partners has further enriched discussions, driving the translation of theoretical advancements into practical applications and innovations.
The workshop is now in its 11th edition and it will be hosted by CEA/ Institut de Recherche Interdisciplinaire de Grenoble (IRIG) and organized by Jean-Michel Gerard, Julien Claudon, and Gilles Nouges.
