My name is KANAR R. TARIQ, I was born in Baghdad.

I have a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Baghdad/2009, and then I have done my master's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Faculty of Engineering-UTM-Malaysia / 2014.

I worked as a Tutor at University of Human Development from 2009 till 2012, after that period I went to study my master degree, when I came back I worked as a lecturer in University of Human Development, I got a chance to joining the Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University and I was a Head of Information Technology Department (Morning/Evening) in Technical College of Informatics (2015-2019), also I am visit Lecturer in Kurdistan Technical Institute/Sulaymaniyah, during these years. Furthermore, i was a Director of Administration & Registration in Qaiwan International University (2019-2023)

Currently I am Director of Quality Assurance & Scientific Affairs in Qaiwan International University (QIU) as well as I am teaching some courses there.

My favorite subjects to teach are “Networks, Microprocessor, Digital Logic Design, Mobile Applications, Computer Organization, and Software Engineering”, my interesting research field are “Wireless Communications, Optical Networks, Optical Amplifiers and Noise Reduction.”
