Analog Integrated Circuits Laboratory

Department of Electrical Computer and Biomedical Engineering

The Analog Integrated Circuits Laboratory (AIC) is aimed at the conception, design and realization of integrated circuits for diverse applications including mm-Wave wireless multi-Gbps transceivers, wired electrical and electro-optical communications for >50Gbps, healthcare and medical diagnostic.

A strong partnership with industry is established in order to train talented students around key problems. The target is transferring new technologies to industry and contributing to the research community on integrated circuits publishing papers with new brilliant ideas.

Many grants are available each year thanks to a win-win relation with industry and to successful applications of projects to National and European funds. Internships periods in companies, or periods in research institutions in Europe, are possible. All the PhD students graduated in the Lab had their work published on the most prestigious scientific journals or international conferences of the IEEE.

Students from Italian and foreign Universities, and candidates for PhD or post-doc programs, are solicited to get in touch with Prof. Andrea Mazzanti if they dream to contribute to the exciting world of microelectronics.
