How to reach Pavia

From MALPENSA AIRPORT

By train

Malpensa Express trains connect the Terminal 1 and 2 of Malpensa directly to the centre of Milan (Bovisa, Cadorna, Porta Garibaldi, and Centrale Railway Stations). At the first floor of the terminal you can find the ticket shop. Otherwise, you can also purchase the tickets online. A free shuttle bus connects the two Malpensa terminals running every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.

If you take the Malpensa express you can either stop at the Milano-Bovisa and Milano-Porta Garibaldi stations and take the S13 Suburban railway line to Pavia (approx. 50 min.), or continue to Milano-Centrale station and take a regional train to Pavia. By bus

Buses connect directly Malpensa (Terminal 1 and 2) and Milan Central Station every 20 min. The journey lasts approx. 40 minutes.

You can buy your ticket online, on-board or at Malpensa Bus boxes located in the Arrival Area of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

From Linate airport

A bus line connects directly Linate to the train station of Pavia.

You can download the timetable here. The journey takes about 45 min. Tickets can be purchased directly on the bus.

Otherwise, you can take the bus from Linate Airport to Milano-Centrale station and the regional train to Pavia. Buses run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 25 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the bus or on-line.


From Bergamo - Orio al Serio airport

Buses connect the Orio al Serio Airport to Milan-Central station every 20 minutes. The journey lasts about 1 hour. Tickets and timetables are available here.

Train Connections between Milan and Pavia

The suburban line S13 connects Pavia to several railway stations in Milan, every 30 minutes. The journey takes approx. 40-55 minutes depending on the station of departure in Milan.

Otherwise, from Milano-Centrale and Milano-Rogoredo railway stations, you can take a regional train to Pavia (approx. 30 and 20 min., respectively).
