In "Create a new submission", choose the Workshop track, and select 4th International Workshop on Reservoir Computing as the subject topic.
The papers accepted to the 4th International Workshop on Reservoir Computing (RC 2026) will be published together with the ICANN 2026 proceedings in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
Submission of contributed papers follows the same rules as for the main ICANN 2026 conference:
The RC 2026 Workshop will be an in-person conference. We expect that at least one co-author of each paper will be physically present in Padua to give his or her presentation. We will also enforce a no-show rule, in order to encourage an optimal quality of the scientific discussion here in Padua.
All scientific communications will be reviewed and scientifically evaluated by a panel of experts. The conference will feature two categories of communications:
oral communications (15′ presentation + 5′ questions)
poster communications
Papers will undergo rigorous peer review; the Program Committee will make the final decision on which papers will be included in the conference program. For papers with conflicting reviews, or which are on the borderline between acceptance and rejection, a short rebuttal phase is foreseen.
Authors willing to present original contributions in either oral or poster category may submit:
A full paper (up to 12 pages, all included) to be published in Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series with individual DOI as part of the conference proceedings. Full papers must be anonymized for the double-blind review.
A long abstract of 1-2 pages (including references) that may be published in the conference proceedings, but without indexing. Abstracts do not require anonymization.
The review process of the ICANN 2026 is double-blind. This means that the identity of the reviewers is unknown, but also that the reviewers will not see the list of authors of the paper. Follow the instructions on the main Conference website: https://e-nns.org/icann2026/submission/
All author information is found at https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines. As a first step, obtain the paper template:
The paper template is found at LaTeX2e Proceedings Templates download.
The template is also available on Overleaf.
Under the link above, you will also find a link to the paper template in Microsoft Word. Please do not use the Word template unless absolutely necessary, as it will make your paper come out in a somewhat different style.
For a detailed style guide, consider Instructions for Proceedings Authors.
