UMS Engineering Electives and Makerspace

I'm curious about everything. I love both building things and taking things apart. I received my BA and MA from UCLA, and I've been involved in educational robotics in Silicon Valley for over 20 years. I spend my non-work time tinkering, writing a book, hiking, playing MMORPGs and tabletop games, and just plain exploring. My husband is a mad inventor, one of my sons develops medical lasers, his wife is an electrical engineer, my other son works as a game developer for a game you might have played, and his partner is a programmer at the same game company. I wish I could live on an airship and build mechanical dinosaurs, but I'm quite happy exploring electronics and robots with creative, enthusiastic students.
