Welcome to 8th Grade Science!!

Welcome to 8th-grade science! My goal as your teacher is to ignite your curiosity and get you excited about understanding how our world—and the universe beyond—works. This is my 8th year teaching, and after spending 6 wonderful years teaching 6th-grade math and science, I'm thrilled to be in my second year of teaching 8th-grade science.

I have a deep passion for science, which stems from my undergrad studies in MCD Biology at UC Santa Cruz. I’m an animal lover and am committed to protecting our environment, especially marine life. As we explore science together, my hope is that you'll not only gain the knowledge you need for high school but also develop a genuine love for learning.
