What your child should bring to school everyday:

Announcements: The end of the school year is coming up fast! Please refer to the email I sent on May 8th for details about all of the end of year events.

Language Arts: We will continue reading the novel Red: The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood this week. Red is a spin-off of the fairytale Little Red Riding Hood.  There will be no more vocabulary homework this year. We will review all of the roots we studied this year.  Students will finish a reflective essay about their time in elementary school this week.

Math: We will continue module 6, and lessons will focus on graphing on a coordinate plane. The mid module test will be on Friday.  This will be the last math test of the school year.

Social Studies: We will finish chapter 11. We are studying the Patriot and Loyalist viewpoints on whether or not the American colonies should declare independence. This week students will prepare for a debate. We will begin chapter 12, which covers the Declaration of Independence. We are learning the location and capital of each U.S. state.  This week will be the final test on all of the 50 state capitals.

PE: We have PE with Rhythm and Moves on Friday. This is in addition to our class PE.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
