Students will begin dressing out for PE on 8/20/24 at the earliest.
Students will have PE class everyday!!!
Students are expected to dress out daily for class. Dressing out means changing into T-shirt/shorts/sweats/PE Clothes different from what you wore to school. Wearing the same shorts/leggings/sweats/t-shirt that you wore to school will be put in the gradebook as a non-dress for PE.
No yelling in the locker rooms.
Once dressed students should go outside to their classroom numbers.
Students will be expected/graded on performing the warm-up activities each day. Leaving your number during warm-ups will lead to a zero point warm-up score for the day.
Following warm-ups students will go and participate in their sport activities. Participation means active movement, skill practice, skill tests, game participation. Students will be graded daily on participation.
After class students will change into their school clothes for the rest of the school day.
Medical/Sick Notes:
If you have a medical/sick note to not participate during your PE activity, you MAY NOT participate in your UMS after-school athletic activity.
Absences/Parent Notes:
Parent notes can be used for 3-days max. Anything more than 3-days requires a doctors note.
Notes on run days means the student will get a zero score until the run has been made up.
Anytime a student is absent or excused with a note the student needs to make up the day by completing a PE make-up sheet. The make-up sheet requires the student to complete 30 minutes of activity for each day of PE missed. The activity can be an after school sport/club, riding a bike, hiking, dancing, walking the dog, etc.Â
