Welcome to Mrs. Yu's Class

​Dear Third Grade Families,

     We have our first math test on Thursday this week. We will do a review packet in class together on Wednesday, and then the children take that packet home to study. We do this before each math test. In our novel, Fudge-a-mania, the children were laughing so hard at the last chapter where Mr. Feather was saying some interesting things. While reading the novel, we are learning about the plot, rising action, and resolution.

     In science, we have learned how environments can change over time and how humans can actually change the environment as well. For writing, we are seeing how opinion writing needs research as well as transitions. We wrote some notes on things we feel strongly about to prepare for writing an essay.
