Third Grade Families,

Week of 1/21/24: This week, we will learn how to use helping verbs in grammar. We will also be learning about the plot of a story by looking at the beginning, middle, and end of our spider story. The students will learn about informational writing as they write about their marine animal. We also start Module 4 in math (multiplication and area).

Please take note of the following:

1. Have your child bring their charged chromebook each day.

2. Have your child memorize multiplication facts each night. They can make flash cards, you can ask them facts while driving in the car, etc.

3. Toys/balls and other items not related to our curriculum from home are not allowed. 

4. Field trip: Feb. 11th: The Marine Science Institute does not have space for garbage from class lunches, so please make sure to send your child with a reusable lunch box, reusable containers, and a reusable water bottle. The only exceptions are for the students who will be getting a cafeteria lunch.
