Dear Third Grade Families,
This may be the last class update. As we finish off the school year, I wanted to thank you for being such a great support to your child and our class. The students have made such great strides academically and socially. It has truly been a pleasure teaching your child.
Over the summer, I highly recommend reading, a paragraph of writing, and a page of a math practice each day. Any kind of 4th grade math workbook is good and they can do a page each day. The students can also do a 3rd grade refresher workbook. There are many workbooks at Lakeshore, the store on Bascom Avenue. You can also buy workbooks online.
Olympic Day: Tuesday, June 2nd: We will have many fun outdoor activities, so please have your child wear their yellow class tshirt and sunblock as we will be outside 2-3 hours.
Last buddy day: Wednesday, June 3rd: We will play board games together with our buddies.
Class party: Thursday, June 4th: Our class will play games, have snacks, and watch a movie. We will have plenty of snacks but if your child wants to donate some, they are welcome to.
Last day of school: Friday, June 5th: Dismissal will be at 12:15 p.m. and report cards will also go home on this day.
