Dear 3rd Grade Families,
Thank you so much for making my birthday so special. I was so surprised to receive the generous gift cards, snacks, coffe, tea, coffee mug, candies, and card signed by all the students. They even sang "Happy birthday" to me. I appreciate it so much. Thank you!
Our field trip was so fun and informative. We were able to rotate through four stations and learn about all the marine life. Thank you to all the chaperones as well as those who wanted to chaperone but couldn't due to space on the bus. Your help was invaluable.
In math, we have started learning about different attributes of polygons and quadrilaterals. There is a lot of new vocabulary so I'm working on getting a cheat sheet together for your child to take home and also keep in their math notebooks at school. In language arts and science, we will work on different prefixes and suffixes. We will also continue reading and researching our marine animal. The marine animal report is work we will do in class, so there is no need for your child to work on it at home unless they want to.
Here are a few things to note:
Please make sure your child charges their Chromebook each night.
Have your child memorize their multiplication facts each night.
