Dear 3rd Grade Families,
Happy New Year! Thank you so much for the generous gift cards, flowers, candy, and other gifts. I wrote a thank you card for the students, but just in case the cards don't make their way home, I wanted to thank you for your generosity. I hope everyone had a restful break. I stayed in town and did a lot of shopping.
This week, our school will start off with Smart Start activities. These could be STEAM activities involving Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We will also play some logic games and board games to ease back into our academics. Due to the Smart Start activities, we will not be doing spelling this week.
We will continue reading Charlotte's Web, and we will learn about square units and area in math.
Here are a few things to note:
Please make sure your child charges their Chromebook each night.
Have your child memorize their multiplication facts each night.
