Dear 3rd Grade Families,
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving break. This week we have an onsite field trip where the students will learn about the Ohlone Native Americans during a special presentation. We will also start spelling. I will give a pretest each Monday. If anyone gets 100% on the pretest, they can just study the challenge words for the week. Then on Fridays, I will give the actual graded test. We will try to do spelling practice each day in class, but your child is also encouraged to practice spelling at home as well. The spelling list will be posted below each week.
In math, we will look for patterns in multiplication and division to help us learn multiples and factors.
Here are a few things to note:
Please make sure your child charges their Chromebook each night.
Have your child memorize their multiplication facts each night.
