This is my twelth year as a Dartmouth Eagle and I couldn't be more excited to be on the Sharks Team! I am a San Jose native, returning home to teach my favorite subject, Social Studies. I have a younger brother, and a lot of relatives across the pond in Scotland. In my free time, I love to dance; I've studied Russian-French ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop, and sometimes I can be convinced to ballroom dance. Here at Dartmouth I have been a part of the creative staff for the school musical. I am also lucky enough to have accompanied our students to Washington, D.C..
I graduated from San Jose Unified School District, then went on to earn my Bachelor's in History and French from the University of California at Davis, with high honors in both. I spent my Junior year studying abroad in Glasgow, Scotland, before finishing my degrees and working at Stratford's Pomeroy Middle School campus, where I taught 7th and 8th grade French and History, where I was also involved with Extended Care and helping with the school musicals. I left to pursue my Teaching Credential and Masters in Education from the Stanford Teacher Education Program, where I expanded my skill set and was trained in Common Core strategies, as well as Heterogenous Groupwork. I am thrilled to be here at Dartmouth and looking forward to a successful school year!
