March 17th - Parent meeting for Interested Students 6-7 pm in room 202
March 21st - Cheer clinic from 10am-12:30pm in the DMS Cafeteria.
March 31st - Elementary Band tour at Lietz, Guadalupe, and Oster
April 7th and April 21st- Open gym for all interested in trying out 5pm-6:15pm, DMS Cafeteria
April 27th, April 28th, and April 29th- Tryouts held in the DMS Cafeteria from 4pm-6pm.
April 30th- Results posted on DMS Cheer Website
Maty 5th- New Team Parent/Cheerleader Meeting, Room 202 from 6 pm - 7 pm
May 6th - Uniform fitting at 6:15pm, location TBD. All new cheerleaders must attend to get sized for their uniforms. Returning cheerleaders can attend if they need to order any new parts of their uniform.
June 5th - Last day of school
Summer practices- TBD
July 17th- July 20th- United Spirt Association Cheer Camp, Santa Clara - Hyatt Regency. Cheer camp is the ENTIRE day, do NOT make other plans these days.
August 11th - 6th grade Orientation
August 12th- First day of school
August 18th - Regular practice schedule begins
August 27th - DMS Back To School Night
September 19th- Stunt Clinic 10am-1pm, DMS Cafeteria
November 29th - Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade TBD
December 5th - Los Gatos Christmas Parade
December 12th - USA Northern California Regionals Competition, Union City
January 9th, 2027- USA Northern California Regionals Competition, Antioch
Thank you for showing interest in the Dartmouth Middle School cheerleading program. We are a competitive cheer team that invites male and female athletes of all skill levels to join. While no experience is required, we are looking for candidates with a strong sense of commitment, great work ethic, and a positive attitude! Through this sport, students will build character, morale, and practice sportsmanship.
Please be sure to thoroughly read the tryout packet and our team contract before tryouts. Any questions can be directed to coaching staff via email: dmscheer@unionsd.org
