Below is a list of the positions available with their descriptions. Descriptions are meant to be a general idea of which jobs are available and what is required in each position. All tasks may not be listed here.

1. Photocopy materials for teachers

Position: Clerical Office Workers
All buildings
Approximate dates Mid July-August 31
1. Answer phones
2. Prepare mailings
3. Stamp incoming textbooks
4. Replenish all standard forms/Prepare paperwork
5. Assist with orientation for incoming students
6. Filing
7. Shredding
8. Put up bulletin boards

Approximate dates Mid July –August 31
1. Wash down lockers, student desks, and other surfaces
2. Wash windows/Walls
3. Move furniture/Books
4. Small painting jobs
5. Mop and wax floors
*All cleaning materials used are green certified.

Position: Summer Music Program
*Students must play an instrument proficiently
Approximate dates Beginning of July-Early August
1. Assisting children in transit to different classes and bathroom breaks
2. Assisting classroom teachers in teaching of lessons and ensemble literature
3. Helping with orderly acceptance and dismissal of children
4. Continuing inventory of district instruments, music, and equipment.
5. Keeping attendance records of classes

Position: Technology Department
** Students must be proficient in assembling desktop PCs and hooking up components such as the mouse, keyboard, and printer.
Approximate dates Mid July –August 31
1.Dismantling computers in classrooms
2. Reassembling computers in classrooms
3. Making sure printer, keyboard, and computer mouse is working for each desktop
4.Reorganize technology storage areas
5. Inventory equipment
6. Wipe down iPads, chromebooks, desktops and telephones
7. Test workstations and telephones to confirm working
